Student Placements & High School Volunteers

Volunteer opportunities exist for students who are currently involved in a college or university programs that require a placement as part of their curriculum. The placement opportunities available at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa focus mainly on program support at the Clubhouses, but are dictated by the requirements of the placement and the needs of our organization. If you are interested in doing your student placement with BCGO please fill out the volunteer application form.

For a high school student to become a Youth Clubhouse Volunteer, they must become a Club Member first. To become a Club Member, please stop by your nearest Clubhouse location to fill out a Membership Form or you can obtain one online. As a Club Member you will have access to a wide variety of programming including sports and recreation, leadership programs, Homework Club, creative arts, and so much more! Once you have become a Member, you can apply to volunteer by contacting a Boys and Girls Club Senior Youth Worker.
