Each year, the Club serves an average of 4,500 children and youth (aged 6 to 18 years) currently with eight locations, a virtual Clubhouse, and a summer Camp. Access to programs is free . BGCO offers four key programming pillars purposefully designed to drive personal development, empower youth to reach their full potential and give them confidence and skills for life : Education; Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyle; Leadership and Social Skills; and Creative Arts. BGCO also offers a summer camp experience at Camp Smitty to hundreds of youths that may not otherwise get the opportunity to experience summer camp.
The BGCO Morning Social, previously known as the BGCO Breakfast has been a staple fundraiser for BGC Ottawa for 12 years. This year, the Morning Social will be bigger than ever.
Last year, our morning event was an unprecedented success. Because of you: our partners, business supporters and individual donors we raised over $1 Million Dollars! This allows us to continue our vision of offering barrier-free programming to help children and youth of Ottawa to belong, believe and achieve.
Returning from the 11th edition of this event, we are thankful for our co-chairs, Liza Mrak & Gary Zed . The life-changing impact that BGC Ottawa has on Ottawa's youth and children would not be possible without your support.
