Let me tell you about Jaden and Aria, a brother and sister who spend many afternoons and evenings at our Taggart Parkes Family Clubhouse.
Life at home can be hard. Their mom works long hours to cover rent and groceries, and the holidays often feel quiet and uncertain.
But inside the Clubhouse, everything changes.
Aria says, “At the Club, I feel safe and like I belong. I can be myself and feel proud of who I am.” She joined the Sisterhood program, where girls build confidence, discover their strengths and lift each other up.
Her younger brother Jaden participates in Brotherhood, where boys learn respect, teamwork and leadership. “At the Club, I learned how to help others and be someone kids can look up to,” he says. Now Jaden is becoming a role model himself, encouraging younger Members to stay positive and believe in their potential.
