Thank You, Michelle!

On behalf of everyone at BGC Ottawa, we extend our deepest gratitude to Michelle Taggart for her years of extraordinary leadership, generosity and vision as a dedicated Board Member and Gala Committee Co-Chair.

Michelle’s impact on our Club – and on the lives of countless young people across our community – is truly profound and far-reaching. Her passion for creating brighter futures for kids has inspired us all, and her unwavering commitment has helped shape the very heart and spirit of BGC Ottawa.

The Taggart Parkes Family Clubhouse stands as a shining reflection of Michelle’s vision, determination and care. During some of the most challenging times, she poured her energy and heart into making that dream a reality, creating a space where children and youth can learn, grow and thrive for generations to come.

While Michelle may be stepping down from her official roles, she remains a close friend, trusted partner and unwavering champion for BGC Ottawa. Her influence will continue to be felt in every corner of our organization, in every opportunity created and in every smile sparked by her efforts and generosity.

Thank you, Michelle, for your steadfast belief in the power of community, for your kindness and compassion, and for all that you have done, and continue to do, for the lives of young people throughout Ottawa. You have made a difference that words can hardly capture; one that will forever be part of who we are.
